On January 12, 2010, a magnitude 7.0 earthquake struck the nation of Haiti. Over 300,000 people suddenly lost their lives. Before the earthquake, Haiti was the poorest nation in the Western Hemisphere. After the earthquake, it became a disaster zone. However, in the midst of this tragedy, Haitian people are responding with worship and prayer. Their devotion to Jesus is inspiring.
After a month of video editing, my eight-minute documentary is finished! You can watch it above. In the documentary, five Haitians tell their story of how they chose to worship in the midst of suffering. The video tells the story of the worship movement that is arising out of devastation in Haiti.
Praying for the Ending of Abortion in West Virginia
Recently, I went on a ministry trip to West Virginia. I preached at the Clarksburg House of Prayer about God’s desire to end abortion and answered questions related to the Bound4LIFE chapter they are starting. The next day, we went out to pray in silence at the West Virginia state capitol building. While there, I got to meet a Russian young lady who survived an abortion. She developed cerebral palsy from the abortion but is so joyful and happy! A nurse at the abortion clinic saved her life bringing her to the hospital. Later, an American family adopted her. Her story amazed me.
