On Tuesday, I (Jonathan) received a text from Matt Lockett, the national leader of Bound4LIFE dreaming that Roe could be overturned soon. At a gathering with him and Lou Engle a few months before, I had presented to God a dream of a prayer meeting to end abortion. I asked Matt if he would lead a prayer meeting with me. Thinking just a few people would come, we got a little room that could fit 50 people in it. Around 100 showed up! Lou & Therese Engle decided to come last minute as well. Matt shared about the supernatural prayer authority they had been walking in in Washington, DC. Our faith was stirred. Could this be the time for Roe to overturned? With lots of sweat, overheated, we prayed for two hours, “God end abortion and send revival to America!”
That Friday, I asked Matt’s Bound4LIFE team to help us lead our 10am intercession meeting at IHOPKC. Many had arrived for TheSend and the prayer meeting was packed! I got up to pray and I couldn’t even hear myself because the roar was so loud for the unborn. God moved powerfully!
In light of all that was happening we decided to call a special Silent Siege at Planned Parenthood. Around 50 people showed up. The next day, we prayed in the midnight, 4am, 6am, and 8am prayer meetings for the overturning of Roe. We did not get a decision that day but we are believing we will get a decision soon! Keep praying with us. We are asking God for a spirit of adoption to flow to all 50 states. Let’s keep contending until He does!
