So much happened in May, it feels difficult to just share a few highlights about it! We felt like God was telling us it was a time to see with our own eyes fruit of almost 23 years of nonstop prayer. One of our main prayer focuses is the church in this city, and it was amazing to see tons of believers come to KC for a week to evangelize, serve, and be the hands and feet of Jesus as they partnered with hundreds of local churches and ministries.
For one week on our Truman Property we had 5 different tents of night and day prayer for different regions of our nation, for the nations, and for Israel. There was also morning and evening large event gatherings along with special afternoon sessions. During the afternoon, evangelism, service, & outreach teams would go out all across our region. From 285 unique outreach locations 4,000 homes were engaged, 6,000 people were served, and there were over 500 salvations and many more seeds sown for the Gospel of Jesus.
Significantly, we began the week in the big event tent Tuesday morning praying for Israel. It has been a promise God gave us many years ago that there would be night and day prayer for Israel on President Harry S. Truman’s former land, the President that stood with Israel politically and recognized them as a nation.
We ended the week with a car procession to Arrowhead football Stadium telling the stories of God’s promises for the prayer movement and some history of prayer and revival. The Send was an all day event in the stadium where thousands gathered together to worship and engage and commit to engage in the Great Commission.
