On August 16th, we brought our lives and ministries together. Our wedding was a whirlwind of excitement celebrating with our family and friends. Many commented that they felt the presence of the Lord powerfully during the ceremony especially during our vows that we wrote for each other from the Scripture. We will give a more extensive update of our wedding in our next newsletter.
Since settling into our new house and life together, we have already been presented with an opportunity to serve the Lord together. Haitian Pearl, IHOPKC’s outreach ministry to Haiti, has extended an invitation to us to join their team for another mission trip. Our team will be serving Fisher’s of Men Ministries—the same ministry Jonathan served at for two and a half months a few years ago at the beginning of our relationship. It is also the same ministry we went to last year. We will be going January 7th-13th with our trip culminating in an all day Solemn Assembly January 12th praying and fasting for revival in Haiti. Past Solemn Assemblies have been attended by over 12,000 Haitians. As a team, we will be helping Fisher’s of Men lead the event. On the other days we are there, we will likely spend time holding orphans, sharing the Gospel, and encouraging church leaders in Haiti.
Also, students in our Bible School will be joining us this year. This trip will serve as an opportunity to bring what they learn in the classroom to real life. One of the main goals for the students on this trip is to face the injustices of Haiti and start their journey into seeing God’s heart to bring justice to the nations. We will be able to help the students as they walk on this journey that we ourselves have been walking on.
In order to go and do what God has called us to do in Haiti, we need a total of $3,000. We need $1,600 of that by October 6th and the rest by November 17th. Would you partner with us sending us to Haiti to be a part of the glorious things God is doing there? Thank you so much!
For the Glory & Worth of the Lamb,
