We had a great time at our wedding. Our only wish is that we could have visited with our guests more! We were blessed by how it all came together and how people came around us to serve us. Our heart for our wedding was that people would see Jesus through it. The most profound part of the wedding was our vows that we wrote from scripture and experiencing the presence of the Lord during our ceremony. We had a wonderful honeymoon in the beautiful mountains of North Georgia. It was the perfect combination of rest and adventure in the great outdoors. The last month we’ve been settling into our new house. It is definitely a huge life adjustment, but we really love it. Recently, friends who were visiting Kansas City set us up with some bed gardens and fruit trees. We are grateful for all their knowledge and help. Our main goal right now is to create a long-term vision for our house and yard, and we really desire to partner with God and use our house to bless others and bring Him glory.
Haiti Trip Update
The mission of Haitian Pearl is to mobilize prayer for Haiti while serving the nation through works of justice. We are currently working on a plan to document our trip and focus on interviewing church leaders to inspire prayer for Haiti through video and media. We are also really looking forward to hopefully taking a little time away from our group to go visit our sponsor child that we sponsor through Compassion International. He lives relatively close to the mission base that we will be staying at. We really are excited to go to Haiti and be available in whatever way God would have us pray and serve His beloved Haiti. We are at about 39% of what we need for our upcoming missions trip to Haiti, and we have deadlines coming up soon. We still need $800 to reach our next deadline in a few weeks, and we need the rest by November 25. Would you be a part of seeing God’s destiny come forth in Haiti as we go and labor with the church in Haiti?
