We have never had such an open window for the overturning of Roe vs. Wade and the returning of abortion laws to the states as we do right now! A few months ago, I (Jonathan) had to give you the disappointing news that the Supreme Court ruled against Louisiana’s law to limit abortion in their state. We brought them a 5ft x 125ft scroll of over 240,897 names of Americans that want abortion to end. Unfortunately, Chief Justice John Roberts did not rule the way we hoped and prayed he would.
Now a door stands open for the church to pray like never before! Amy Barrett is likely the most Christian Supreme Court justice in the last thirty years that has had the opportunity to serve on the Supreme Court for the rest of her life. If she is confirmed to the Supreme Court the balance will shift radically in favor of overturning Roe vs. Wade. Whether Donald Trump is elected for another four years or not, this will be a significant shift for the Supreme Court. This is what we have been giving ourselves to praying for for so many years.
She has been accused of being aligned with racist philosophy. They are afraid she’s going to overturn Obamacare completely. They are afraid she will overturn homosexual marriage. They have over and over again tried to trap her and make her say something that would disqualify herself. Through it all she has remained calm and refused to answer questions that would be inappropriate for her to answer because they are concerning future cases she will hear. Pray for continued strength for her and her family. Pray that she would continue to stand firm against all of this scrutiny this final week.
