For several weeks we felt led to pray for healing during our Anna Club in the nursing home. In the middle of these weeks, Joan* found out she had lumps on her breasts which required surgery. She shared that many years ago she had breast cancer. She went for prayer and was completely healed from that cancer! Believing in God’s power to heal again, she asked for prayer.. After few weeks of praying for her, she happily came to the Anna Club to tell us that the doctor was able to cancel her upcoming surgery because a check-up revealed that the lumps were all completely gone!
We have an urgent prayer request regarding Amy* in our group. She is our most enthusiastic singer in Anna Club. She recently told us that she liked our prayers and respected our religion, however, she thinks everyone can have their own path and she believes not just in God, but also in a goddess and she thinks for her path it’s fine to believe in Jesus and also practice Wicca and worship nature. We showed her in Scripture that Jesus is the only Way, Truth, and Life, and how other religions are incompatible with the Gospel of Jesus. However, we feel we are at a stand-still with her as weekly she says, “well, you have your way, and I have my way.” We are asking for prayer for wisdom and revelation and that her heart would be encountered with the One True living God, Jesus. She is being discharged in the next few weeks so we need God’s help quickly!
