On January 18th the Supreme Court will receive a proposal to re-open the Roe vs. Wade case. It is time to pray like never before! Norma McCorvey (the Roe of Roe vs. Wade) became a Christian a few years ago. She now has a lawyer, Allen Parker, who has submitted their case to the Supreme Court. On February 18th the Supreme Court will decide whether to take the case or not. We will be praying in the Night Watch on Monday for the justices as they receive this case. Please take this up as a matter of continual prayer and consider fasting with me on Monday the 17th and Tuesday the 18th. Look to your e-mail for the latest information. (If you are not on my list please e-mail me!)
One Thing Conference, Kansas City
On December 28th-31st we had our annual One Thing Conference here in Kansas City. We have a vision with this conference to fill a generation with a passion for one thing: the Man Christ Jesus (Psalm 27:4). It was a time of much corporate worship with our own worship teams as well as some well-know worship leaders and we had extended times of teaching.
On New Year’s Eve we brought the New Year in with an all day Sacred Assembly crying out for Revival in America and for the overturning of Roe vs. Wade. The Cause USA team led some of the day. I, of course, jumped back in with them that Friday desiring to see the 10,000 young people burn with a passion to see abortion ended. We launched a new movement called bound4life (www.bound4life.com). The vision is to see ten million young people wearing wristbands that say “LIFE” on them and committing to God to pray for abortion to end every time they look at the band pleading the blood of Jesus over their sins and the sins of our nation. They also commit to not vote for any candidate that supports abortion. Almost the entire conference hall received the “LIFE” bracelets and committed to these things!
At 7 pm on Friday the entire Cause team went up to pray with Lou Engle. Many of our team prayed on the stage. I prayed from Psalm 18 that God would rescue the voiceless babies because He delights in them!
Technical Ministry
At the conference I directed the five-camera shoot at the conference for four of the sessions including the opening session. It was extremely stressful and a lot of hard work!! However, it went really well and the video was placed on the screens and hopefully really enhanced the conference. Praise the Lord!
