Won’t He do it?

We are so thankful for those who gave! We have a great start to a sound system from the $450 we were able to raise! We still definitely want to do more but now we can do harp and bowl prayer!

We have been doing our Anna Club nursing home ministry for over 6 1/2 years now, and recently we felt like it was time to bring in more of the harp and bowl prayer format into our weekly prayer meeting. Having a team of people coming weekly with us has helped make weaving in worship and music with the prayers possible.

I, Theresa, was undone and overcome with emotion the first time I heard the residents pray with music and begin to sing spontaneous choruses together.

I am reminded of the end of the Dr. Seuss book called “Horton Hears a Who.” It took the voice of each and every single Who citizen crying out to rescue their tiny world. The prayers of the elderly and their voices are a critical part of God’s purposes being done on earth. God is raising up the elderly in this hour and giving them a voice and a purpose to be set on the wall of intercession that will lead to revival in our nation and the return of Jesus.

Thank you to all who sowed into helping us get a start to the sound and music equipment. We look forward to continuing to develop harp and bowl prayer meetings that the elderly in nursing homes can participate in. We also look forward to being able to be able to train and help others begin Anna Club prayer meetings at their local nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and retirement communities.
