On March 4th, the Supreme Court is deciding on a Louisiana law requiring doctors to have admitting privileges at hospitals. This law would provide an easy transfer should something go wrong in the abortion. Texas put forward a similar law several years ago. It closed down 60% of the clinics in the state until the law was overturned by the Supreme Court a year ago. I have been reading many pro-choice leaning news outlets saying that if this Louisiana law goes into effect it will create “abortion deserts” where other states will be allowed to severely limit abortion. Some are saying it will be a “de facto” reversal of Roe vs Wade.
As they were deciding whether to take this case last October, we unrolled a 5ftx125ft long scroll of ¼ of a million people who want abortion to end. Often conservative leaning justices use strategy to decide which cases to take. They often wait fearing that if they take a case without a majority then they could further enshrine pro-choice laws. So the fact that they have taken it (requires four justices) is significant. After much prayer I have decided to stay in Kansas City to help lead the prayer room to praying for the overturning of Roe vs Wade and the ending of abortion. Lou Engle is calling a fast for 40 days like Jesus did March 1st-April 9th. We are asking God for a global yearning for the Bridegroom Jesus to come with revival power and for His return to the earth.
