Theresa and I are so excited to be expecting our first baby in August! In addition, God is moving in the inner city as the poor are fed, addicts set free, and the spiritual atmosphere is changed through night and day prayer. Furthermore, many elderly are discovering their call as intercessors in nursing homes. We are so thankful!
Our nation is in crisis. The storm clouds have been gathering for some time now as America continues to shake its fist at God flaunting sexual immorality and continuing the systematic murder of thousands of unborn babies a day. We need a Great Awakening. In 1906, a great move of God began on Azusa Street in Los Angeles, California. Filled with the power of the Holy Spirit, William Seymour, son of former slaves, was a part of igniting a revival that is still impacting the Church to this day. In 1913, Seymour prophesied that in 100 years an even greater awakening was going to touch the earth.
Lou Engle, one of my spiritual mentors, is gathering intercessors to the Los Angeles Coliseum on April 9th, the 110th anniversary of the Azusa revival. TheCall Azusa will gather thousands for 15 hours to boldly ask God for the rains of revival to touch America again. Over the past few months, God made it clear that Theresa and I needed to go. I am going to serve in whatever capacity is needed helping to make this event possible.
Theresa and I are excited to be a part of what God is doing as we serve him full-time as intercessory missionaries. We are also planning to take advantage of being in California to take a “baby-moon” with a vacation in California while we are there. We need $1200 to cover our flight, car rental, and lodging while we are there. Will you send us to pray for another awakening in America and also help us be refreshed with a last vacation before we have our baby? Thank you so much for how you have sent us in the past. We could not do this without you!
