One of the people I (Jonathan) was privileged to meet at the Onething conference was Phillip. His story amazed me. Last year, he was out on the cold street outside of the convention center and decided to come in to our conference. The Lord powerfully touched him during the worship and Phillip surrendered his life to the Lord. Since that time, his life has completely turned around. He is off the street, married, has a child and has started his own business. We are excited to see many lives changed by the power of God as we pray! Thank you for your partnership making this possible!
Keeping the Fire On the Altar
During the conference, we don’t stop praying 24/7. The “fire on the altar” (see Leviticus 6:13) has not gone out for fifteen years. Me and Theresa’s job during Onething was to help make sure that 24/7 continued during the evening sessions of the conference. Jonathan led worship three different times and Theresa helped administrate making sure people were where they needed to be.
Leaving for Haiti Tuesday
Theresa and I leave Tuesday for Haiti at 6am. We are scheduled to arrive in Port-au-Prince by 3pm. We are planning to meet with our Compassion sponsor child, Fabrice, Wednesday, January 7 in the morning. Please pray that God would touch this six year old boy with His love as we spend time with him and his family.
Our trip will culminate in a pastor’s conference focused on prayer and a solemn prayer assembly on January 12th, the anniversary of the devastating 2010 earthquake.
