Yesterday marked the beginnings of victory as a whole wave of Pro-LIFE legislation begins to make its way to the bench of the nine most powerful judges in our nation. In a surprising victory for LIFE, the Supreme Court denied Planned Parenthood’s emergency request to keep Texas’ law from going into effect. The law that the state enacted this past July has halted a third of abortion business so far in Texas. It will likely take a much steeper toll as abortion clinics scramble to meet much-needed safety standards to protect Texas women. Next, the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals will hear the law and it will likely make its way back to the Supreme Court later next year for a final judgment. Many other state Pro-LIFE laws will begin converging next year on the court. Let’s contend in prayer for these six men and three women that God would encounter their hearts and that they would see the truth that abortion hurts women.

We are in our last month of preparing to receive 25,000 guests for our free annual young adult’s conference December 28-31. I am excited to serve again in our children’s ministry to see this next generation experience Jesus’ presence, many for the first time at our conference.
