Praying
In May, we added a justice emphasis to every prayer meetings at the house of prayer. I have been leading prayer for Haiti on Wednesdays and for a culture of LIFE on Fridays briefing our worship teams with the latest news. Since we started, a leader in Uganda’s infamous Lord’s Resistance Army has been captured and Mississippi’s only abortion clinic is likely to be shut down soon.
Singing
Since joining the International House of Prayer as an intercessory missionary nine years ago, I have led intercessors through singing on worship teams. I lead not only our prayer room but thousands all over the world as they watch our webstream. We are making an international impact as God uses us to train the nations in prayer.
Acting
This year, I began a new aspect of ministry acting in two different musicals. We brought the Gospel through this unique medium to thousands a night as we performed “As in the Days of Noah” and the life of Christ in “From Patmos”. I am excited about how God will use us in the future as we tell the old story of Jesus and His mercy for sinners.
Teaching
Since June, I have been teaching kids to lead worship, sing, and play music. I truly believe that my ceiling will be these kids’ floor and they will go so much further then I have ever dreamed in leading prayer and worship.
Preaching
God has opened doors all over the nation for me to preach and lead worship. I led worship and preached at a conference in West Virginia about the house of prayer, I encouraged pastors and leaders at a minister’s conference in Houston, Texas, and I preached at a church in Southern Illinois helping launch their new LIFE initiative.
Outreach
Since 2004, I have been engaged in Pro-LIFE outreach standing outside of abortion clinics in respectful, silent prayer with tape over my mouth that says LIFE. This year, I have been asking God specifically to save abortion doctors. I believe as we stand in silence, God is hearing our cries.
