IHOPKC Missions Base Fulfilling the Great Commission Through Prayer

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.” (Matthew 9:37-38, ESV)

Ever since I was 16 and I stepped on the foreign soil of Panama, I have had a belief and a dream that my generation will fulfill the Great Commission of our Lord. I believe God is orchestrating this prayer movement for this very purpose: to pray for laborers to fulfill the Great Commission. This is the strategy Jesus gave to His disciples for getting laborers unto the mission field: prayer. Having been called by God in a strong way as a teenager to be a part of fulfilling the Great Commission, I find myself, now, right in the middle of God’s strategy for actually pulling the dream off that I had as a teenager!

Last month we began twenty-four hour long small group prayer meetings in one of our Great Commission Rooms covering individual nations. I am helping to give leadership to this effort in the Night Watch. These prayer groups are now crying out every Monday 24 hours for the gospel of Jesus Christ to break in to these twenty-four nations. I have personally taken the 2-3 am slot praying for Panama. My team and I have been focusing our prayers on the un-reached people
